Definitely Regina was adequate for our hockey tournament.
Definitely Regina was adequate for our hockey tournament. We found it easy to get around with plenty of places to dine and shop if you wanted. The central sports facilities are super - something to wish your city had. The only problem - ice plant seemed undersized and did not freeze floods.

Regina like most large cities has its highs and lows.
Regina like most large cities has its highs and lows. Some lovely areas some quite run down. Our family took in the Regina Science Centre. Can't say enough about how much we all enjoyed it. Especially the IMAX documentary. The facility was clean, fun for the entire family and lots of space to roam without feeling overwhelmed by other people. The IMAX film we choose was Wings Over Water. Gorgeous cinematography that the kids truly enjoyed and even my son, daughter and I learned about the wetland birds of the prairies. A great day was had by all. We stayed approx. 3.5 hours.

There's a lot of worthy places to visit in Regina, 3days is not enough. If you're planning to go to Regina, you must visit the Saskatchewan Parliament Building, they have a free tour every 30minutes from 9am to 3pm. And try to meet Scotty, the world's largest T-Rex in Royal Saskatchewan Museum, admission is free, if you're generous they're accepting donations starting at 5cad.

Lots to see and do: R.C.M.P.
Lots to see and do: R.C.M.P. Museum, Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame, Museum of Natural History etc. It is easy to get around due to the city's small size, good signage as well as good lighting. I prefer Wascana Park where there are lots of birds and beautiful trees. It is a great place to have a picnic and enjoy the sunset which is beautiful!
The staff are all very friendly, helpful, and accommodating of requests! The front desk texted the phone number that I provided to ensure that everything was as expected in the room. Ample parking with an outlet included to plug in the car in the cold winter weather. The free airport shuttle is available 24hrs, as is the wake up call service. Beds were comfortable, and the whole suite was very clean. Very good value for money. I would highly recommend this hotel, and I will definitely be staying here again!
This was a good location for us as it is near where we were meeting friends. We have stayed at this hotel before for the same reason. We had a good room, the staff were friendly and eager to be helpful and we did not experience any problems.
The hotel offered a quite good breakfast considering the pandemic related restrictions. We were satisfied with the choices of food and the arrangement of tables.
The night staff that was working on Sept. 10/ 2021 at the east Regina Sandman Inn was completely disrespectful & rude. I’ve never had a man speak to me with so much disrespect. He would not listen to what I was saying and he was demanding a payment for the room. I wasn’t aware that the day manager cancelled my reservation so they wouldn’t let me pay cash for an extra nights stay
Nice quiet affluent part of Regina. Near shopping stores and legislative buildings. Safe to park your car outside. Unlike a previous stay at Regina where we choose a Trans Canada highway hotel location. Had one of our rear tires punctured. Had to drive on a flat tire across the highway to Kal Tire to replace same. Delayed our ongoing trip to Ottawa by 4 hours.
the lady at the check in desk was very polite, informative and efficient.
we had a problem with the TV (recommend that hotels provide instructions on how to operate TVs as they are all different) and housekeeping came immediately to fix it and offered to provide a different room if it could not be resolved
it was
Best hotel I have ever stayed. The room was more like something you would find in a Hilton. Staff was awesome and food was great. I would definitely stay here again and possibly in the near future. The city of Regina was beautiful, clean, and safe. Price was awesome!
The beds were comfortable. The room was fairly clean. Location was convenient for the Royal Saskatchewan Museum and other business that we had to conduct. Moxies and Denny's were both conveniently located very close to the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
I choose this hotel due to the location of being close to friends I was visiting but it exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and the mattress was very comfortable. The resultant staff were very friendly and they can make a mean club house sandwich.
The hotel is one of those grand old architectural edifices but with modern decor and conveniences. I had just an excellent meal in the bar/lounge downstairs for a really reasonable price. Really just a great business travel experience.
The staff were friendly and helpful, I appreciated the hotel is pet friendly. The hotel is close to Victoria Park so we were able to take our dog there several times during our stay. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
Can't say anything good about this hotel. Don't know if the stay would have been nice or not because I was not able to stay even though I had paid in full for the room at the time of booking on Booking.com
Friendly front desk staff, very spacious rooms, great location to explore downtown, tasteful modern aesthetic, comfy beds, big window, decent continental breakfast, mini fridge and microwave in room.
The location of this hotel is ideal; close enough to walk downtown and walk to numerous restaurants in the area. If I needed anything, there was always someone on staff 24/7 in the office.
Hotel reception is very warm and friendly, the room is very clean, the space is high enough, convenient near the airport, will come to stay, recommended
