Location, the lady running the the albergue was very nice and helperful. She wanted to help any way she could. The albergue was sit up very nicely. I would stay here again in hope the kitchen is fixed up better for full use.

Spotlessly clean, large room (family one). Two large singles and a double, very comfy beds, just what you need on Camino. Shower was not great ( too high tech) and didn't work properly, but got you sort of clean. Towels, toiletries etc, which was welcome. Hosts were just lovely.
Right on the Camino, beautiful location and close to town, restaurants and old town - go upwards to old bit, really lovely, or down the steps to the river. Drinks, coffee, breakfast good and reasonably priced. Had dinner at Mr Robérts? On the river, was fab, but need to book, as everyone not booked was turned away.
Would definitely stay again

On Camino Way of Saint James. Beautiful historical sites, lovely stone work, churches that ring their bells for the hour & mass, beautiful community atmosphere, so wonderful to join millions of pilgrims who have walked for centuries from every place country nationality, speaking different languages. We thought Sarria would have a lot to offer since it is a major hub for Pilgrims. The historical section is so charming and has a handful of fun restaurants and hostels. Wish it had more boutique—like hotels b/c, otherwise, Sarria seems to lack charming housing options. There is a great store at the bottom of the hill as you are about to ascend up the infamous stairs to the historical section and out of town on with your walk. They have anything one would need for the Camino and there is a great pharmacy across the street as well.MaryUnited States - 10Scored 10

Room on the ground floor was very spacious, bright. Lovely hot water, clean towels and toiletries provided. If doing the Camino walk id definitely recommend this place. Great location and friendly staff.

We were able to start our Camino journey the next day at 6 am. The Host is also helpful in detailing how and what to do with luggage transfer, we just followed her instructions and everything worked out very well

Room was clean and quiet, with all basic necessities. Internal of hotel was also clean, and tidy.
