We loved that Totana is very Spanish and not a tourist trap.
We loved that Totana is very Spanish and not a tourist trap. We had to speak Spanish , which again we appreciated. Parking can sometimes be an issued but overall the welcome is warm and the food is wonderful.

We were using this as a half way stopover.
We were using this as a half way stopover. Totana itself is very small and mostly agricultural and flat. It seems to be still suffering from recent and ongoing motorway changes and developments. Agricultural commercial area with very little else. Basic facilities and roads full of container trucks.BarbaraSpain - 10Scored 10
The people in Totana are lovely.
The people in Totana are lovely. There are some great restaurants to be found as well. You will need a car to get around and you need to plan your itinerary in advance. There are some great attractions in Murcia and staying up in the mountains where it is slightly cooler is an excellent idea as long as you dont mind driving more. The good news is the roads are nearly always empty and you begin to smile when you drive because of that - something that was last seen in the UK over 30 years ago.RRoryUnited Kingdom

The hotel is dog friendly, the rooms are always spotlessly clean and the bar downstairs has a pleasant terrace where friendly staff serve decent, simple food which is great value for money.

We had a delicious diner for 24 € pp - 3 courses without drinks. Thanks to the chef. We could park our car for free close to the hotel. Nice terrace next to the room. Beautiful garden...

Part of the hermitage of Saint Eulalia. Beautiful church and good walks in the area. Walk up to the “Corazon de Jesus” and the “Virgen Blanca” on the opposite hill for spectacular views.

The location is beautiful and the property is stunning. Food in the restaurant was excellent. The room was exactly as pictured. Large with beautiful shuttered windows.

Easy to find, just off the motorway. Great value for money. In the morning the bar underneath the hotel had great coffee and plenty of choice for breakfast.
