This was my only criticism. Good choice of cooked breakfast which was cooked to order but the buffet consisted of 4 choices of cereal and orange juice. No fruit,, fresh or otherwise, no yoghurts croissants, chees or cold meat selection

Breakfast was good. Staff were very young, inexperienced, and not very welcoming. Faulty Towers springs to mind.

A lovely, classic Lancashire (Yorkshire) market town, with plenty of things to do, places to eat & drink.
The Music & Arts centre always has some excellent bands playing, which was the reason for our visit.
The market square, was great, with plenty of open air seating, that allowed you to take your food / drinks from any of the available vendors.
We recommend Wax & Taps, a great craft beer bar, with a fantastic menu and a small but surprisingly good selection of vinyl, for sale.

Alma Cliffe was an elegant home away from home.
Alma Cliffe was an elegant home away from home. The house is beautifully decorated & immaculately kept. The hosts were special people asking if there was anything we needed. It was simply "Ask & you shall receive.!" Nothing was too much trouble & it was obvious that our comfort was of the utmost importance.
The hosts are a very pleasant couple.

I can't be terribly helpful about Barnoldswick as I was visiting friends at the Lower Park Marina, but the town itself has some lovely shops and cafes and plenty of available parking. Just down the road at Colne there is the Boundary outlet with all of the top name shops to browse. Easy access to Skipton and Harrogate for more amazing shops and experiences.

I booked for bed and breakfast and on our arrival was told we would have to pay another £8.50 each day for a cooked breakfast. We got a small continental breakfast, which on description on booking .com it did say breakfast.
We have stayed her twice and it is a great stopover to visit Barnoldswick. Perfectly situated on a high perch which gives lovely views over the surrounding countryside. The room is en-suite with everything there that you could possibly need or have forgotten. Such a warm and personal touch. My favourite is the wonderful smell of the room with the fresh towels and bedding. Tracey has an amazing place to stay and that’s not even mentioning the tasty breakfast as well which you can order and pay for separately. can’t wait to return!
Communication with Tom was helpful and prompt. We were able to park outside, and it is a very well equipped and decorated little cottage. A nice touch was the welcoming bottle of wine and everything to make tea and coffee. The Wi-Fi was great (handy as I was working from home some days) and we loved the wood burning stove in the evenings. Barnoldswick is a lovely town, with so many independent shops, cafes and pubs, and it is surrounded by magnificent countryside. Highly recommended.
The views are stunning and the hut is fitted out beautifully. You have everything you need for a comfortable stay. There are cooking facilities both inside the hut and outside in the covered seating area. Alison and John are both lovely and will leave you to enjoy the hut once you have checked in. There is an Aldi in Barnoldswick, 1.5 miles away down hill. Perfectly located for exploring Pendle Hill for the witch trail and other surrounding villages.
The rooms were nice and clean. We had breakfast in the morning, it was the basic continental one and served the purpose to quickly grad something before leaving for the day. There was a farm in front and behind the hotel where we saw rabbits and sheep. It was really nice. they also have ample parking for the cars. Overall a satisfied stay. I would recommend staying here.
Nicely decorated house in a quiet location near to Barnoldswick town centre.
Comfortable bed ensuring a good night's sleep.walking distance of local shops - I can recommend Frank's takeaway coffee shop and the Barlick Raj Balti.
Good position for exploring the Yorkshire Dales - I can recommend Stirk House and the Inn at Whitewell for meals outside Barnoldswick.
This cottage is a home from home. The beds and sofa are very comfy, the wood burner is a treat and the kitchen has everything you could need.
It is located in central Barnoldswick, very convenient for the town and a great starting point for many spectacular walks.
Perfect location to explore the local countryside and town...we found everyone we met to be warm and friendly...the Barnoldswick Music and Arts Centre is a wonderful venue to listen to live bands from all across the globe.
Good location for exploring the local area, and a bus stop outside if you fancied a few beers in nearby Barnoldswick . Staff were very helpful and friendly. Buffet breakfast was lovely too.
Our second visit there this year. The location is really nice with views of countryside and within reach of nice Lancashire towns. The room itself was spacious and generally clean
for us the location was not so good as my husband is a poor walker so a bit to far from centre.ideal for a large family enough beds for 8 people.barnoldswick a lovely place.
