Other important national buildings include the Royal Canadian Mint, Supreme Court, and Rideau Hall, the Queen’s official residence when in the country.
The business district and Ottawa Convention Centre are in Downtown, and nearby shopping options include Rideau Mall and ByWard Market - the oldest farmers’ market in Canada and the area with the best nightlife.
