Located at the summit of Mount Pilatus at 2,132 metres above sea level, the Hotel Bellevue is reachable by aerial tramway or the world's steepest cog railway in summer. Very good choice available at breakfast, and the four course included dinner was excellent. A set menu, with limited choices, but they were sufficient. The beef main course available on the second night menu was exceptional. The waiting staff are friendly and attentive, as was reception. The views when the weather cleared were stunning.

Huone oli erittäin siisti, sänky todella mukava ja aamiainen riittävä. Ilmainen julkisen liikenteen kortti plussaa! Rauhallinen sijainti, josta oli helppo lähteä Luzernin keskustaan ja toisaalta vaeltamaan Pilatukselle. Alueella myös muutamia ravintoloita ja ruokakauppa ihan hotellin vieressä.

The view from my balcony was spectacular!!! The room itself was also nice and exceptionally clean. The bed was also really comfortable. There is a big terrace with the same wonderful view. The young woman at the desk in the morning was extremely friendly and helpful.

The views overlooking the lake are amazing! The staff is very friendly, helpful and attentive. Breakfast was wonderful with delicious bread, your choice of made-to-order eggs, great coffee, and many other items as well as a beautiful view of the lake. The rooms are small but quiet. After hiking in the fresh mountain air, it was a perfect place to relax. I appreciated having the sink outside the bathroom as one person can get ready while the other showers. We didn't have time to spend in the spa area but from what I could see, it looked amazing! A great place for a fabulous weekend getaway!

I fell in love with this hotel. Right on the lake, with lively terrace for breakfast, drinks/tea, dinner. By great good fortune, I had a corner room with a huge terrace. Truly, I did not want to leave. Clean, spacious, comfortable, great shower/tub! And views, views, views!!! Please read in the "negative " section where I refute some others' negative reviews. I'm already planning my next trip!!!

My friend and I love our stay at the hotel. The hotel located a top of a hill so we enjoyed the landscape view for the lake of Lucerne and the mountains. Our room was with lake view, the sun rise and sun set was breathtaking from our room. Amazing delicious breakfast. From the hotel there is a funicular that gets you straight to town. Friendly, helpful and always smiling staff :)))
